It’s the most family friendly spot in Greytown to park yer behind on a picnic bench with yer buddies or youngsters and just take a load off. Grab a bite or a beverage. Listen to some sweet tunes. Converse. Take it easy. That’s the Truckstop vibe. We open most Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm until 8:30pm or if the joint is jumpin’ we stay open a little later. We got some regular folks who turn out the best in local food and drinks right here at Truckstop and we bring in our special guests from time to time to give ya’ll plenty of variety to choose from.

You ain’t lived until you’ve tried Dale Keith’s World Famous Smashed Cheeseburger. Add some wood fired potatoes. Hmmmm. That’s a Truckstop signature dish right there. You’ll also see GFC (Greytown Fried Chicken) on the menu from time to time, maybe some tacos – Dale Keith likes to mix it up a little.

Kate is a certified Greytown Treasure. She bakes doughnuts that’ll make you cry tears of unlimited joy. She also whips up the creamiest gelato you’ve ever wrapped yer laughin’ gear around. Get in quick. These treats sell out fast and you can’t go home and tell yer kinfolk you missed out. That would be embarrassin’.

Unleaded Bar stocks the very best in 0%-alcohol beverages, and adds fruit juice and Pete’s Natural soda to the menu. All the vibe of a fun night out without the nasties.

We bring the best in live music to the Wairarapa stage – right here at Truckstop on Saturday nights. Family Fridays usually includes a curated list of good times Americana country tunes, while Saturday’s, Truckstop guests enjoy the sweet sounds of a guest musician. We’ve got a water bowl for your dog so he or she can relax while you dine with us. Some of our guests ain’t comfy with critters so to make sure everyone feels safe, we’re a doggie-free space. If that ain’t yer preference, give your buddy a night off at home before you join us.
